Applying for time at DReaM

Industrial and academic users can apply to use the DReaM Facility.

A call for proposals is currently open and will close on 5th August 2026. This will be for costed time allocated between November 2026 and April 2027. The next call for proposals will open in January for costed Facility time to be allocated between May and October 2027.

Please ensure you have downloaded and read our guidelines before applying.

Once you have filled in the application form, please email it to Catherine Lyall.

Applications will be reviewed for compatibility with the available instrumentation. At this stage, we may get in touch with any queries about your proposal. Once queries are answered and where demand for time is high, proposals may be prioritised by the external advisory board.

If your application is successful, we will get in touch by email with proposed dates for your visit.
