How to apply to use the DReaM Facility
A call for proposals will be open twice a year for external users to apply for pay-for-use time at the DReaM Facility.
Applying for time at DReaM
Industrial and academic users can apply to use the DReaM Facility.
Typically, there will be a call for proposals in January, to schedule time between May and October, and July, to schedule time between November and the following April.
Please ensure you have downloaded and read our guidelines before applying.
The next call for proposals will open on 24th June 2019 and close on 24th July 2019. Once you have filled in the application form, please email it to Catherine Lyall.
Applications will be reviewed by internal members of the management group for compatibility with the available instrumentation. At this stage, we may get in touch with any queries about your proposal. If the proposal is within the instrument capabilities, applications will then be discussed and prioritised by the full management group.
If your application is successful, we will get in touch by email with proposed dates for your visit.
