We wish to appoint a Data Protection Officer who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the University’s information and ensuring we meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

About the role

  • have a deep knowledge of Data Protection, GDPR and Data Use and Access Act legislation, with the confidence to interpret regulations and translate them into practical, proportionate actions for a range of stakeholders.
  • thrive in a collaborative environment and be able to build strong working relationships across academic departments and professional services.

The ideal candidate will also be an advocate for continuous improvement, committed to embedding a culture of privacy, transparency and compliance through training, awareness and policy development.
