            <h2 id="isPasted">About the role</h2><p>This is an excellent opportunity to take on a HR Business Partner role in a part-time role, working in a supportive and respected team, in a vacancy which has arisen from the successful progression of the current postholder.&nbsp;</p><p>As an HR Business Partner, you will have the key consultative and partnering role to specified client departments and services within the organisation. Your role will focus on strategic HR, providing resources, being accountable for service delivery and building relationships to enable the delivering mission and objectives set out by the organisation and developing the capability and culture. The HR Business Partner is a key member of senior leadership teams in the services that you will partner and contributes strongly to their organisational strategy, management and output.</p><p>As an HR Business Partner, you may, at any time, be expected to undertake the roles of strategic planner, facilitator, trainer, coach, expert advisor, project manager or critical friend, working very closely with other teams from across HR.             <h2>About the role</h2><p id="isPasted">This role will be supporting the University&rsquo;s CLEAR (Cloud-Enabling and Agresso Re-platforming) project which is a key University Strategic Project due to be delivered in February 2027. &nbsp;The CLEAR project aims:</p><ul><li>To ensure a fit for purpose, supported finance system with supplier Unit4</li><li>Reimagine how we use a finance system to optimise functionality (adopt not adapt)</li><li>Put in place the technology foundations to enable a finance system and other systems to migrate to the cloud</li><li>&nbsp;Align with the University&#39;s Data &amp; Insight reporting strategy of obtaining operational reporting from core systems.</li></ul><p>The Digital Training Officer (Systems Implementation) will support the HR Lead (Strategic Change &amp; Projects) to ensure staff and students are trained on the new Unit4 system in preparation for go live in February 2027. This role focuses on working with key stakeholders in the project to plan, create, co-ordinate and deliver clear and engaging training materials for diverse groups to help upskill/train staff in the new system. &nbsp;</p><p>The post holder will be involved in activities such as:</p><ul><li>Supporting the production, co-ordination and delivery of training for a Strategic Finance ERP project</li><li>Translate requirements into accessible learning resources</li><li>Working closely with subject matter experts, in Finance and Procurement to design and create appropriate training packages for staff - mainly for online and on demand training materials</li><li>Deliver clear and engaging training materials for diverse groups to help upskill/train staff in the new Finance system (Unit4)</li><li>Schedule training sessions and gather feedback to enable continuous improvement</li></ul><p>The post holder will have:</p><ul><li>Experience of scripting, recording and editing training packages using applications such as Clipchamp or CapCut</li><li>Experience of co-ordinating and implementing training for a new system across a large and diverse organisation</li><li>Experience of supporting and delivering training to upskill a diverse group of stakeholders for an ERP system implementation</li></ul><p>This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected duration of 6 months.&nbsp;</p><p>For an informal discussion regarding the role please contact Katie Ross at&nbsp;<a data-fr-linked="true" href="mailto:kr634@bath.ac.uk" id="isPasted">kr634@bath.ac.uk</a>.</p><p>We consider ourselves to be a university where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged. We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us for 6 months with a background or interest in reward to:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Oversee and manage the delivery of a selection of University&rsquo;s reward processes</li><li>Carry out Job Evaluation</li><li>Analyse market pay data</li><li>Support the delivery of project work</li></ul><p>This is a highly varied role in which you will be involved in tasks across the whole employee life cycle.             <h2 id="isPasted">About the role</h2><p>You will act as Research Project Coordinator to support the &pound;4M EPSRC programme grant &ldquo;Unifying Arithmetic Statistics&rdquo; starting in October 2026 and lasting for 5 years.</p><p>The programme grant lies in pure mathematics with Bath as the lead organisation and co-leads in Kings College London, Cambridge, and Glasgow. The aims are to make progress on foundational problems in number theory. The appointee will be required to develop working relationships with the academic staff from across the consortium and expected to have a deep and intuitive understanding of the academic research environment.&nbsp;</p><p>As the appointment will be made at the project&rsquo;s inception, it is anticipated that the role will evolve and it is essential that the appointee has a flexible, problem solving approach, using sound judgement and creativity.&nbsp;</p><p>The ideal candidate will have experience with project management on a large scale multi-institution project, as well as familiarity with the higher education system and university research culture. They will be pro-active in their approach and have an independent working ethos. This includes monitoring performance, managing training loads, and maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive support network around each athlete.             <p id="isPasted"><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the Bath Mental Health Research Group (MHRG) at the University of Bath as a PPIE Co-ordinator.&nbsp;</p><p>The MHRG is funded for an initial 5 years by the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research) from 2025-2029.&nbsp;</p><p>The focus of our work is applied research aimed at improving health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 12-25 in the local region.</p><p>The work of the centre will be guided by our lived experience advisory panels and stakeholder groups.&nbsp;</p><p>The successful applicant will work closely in a team with the Centre Manager, Administrative Assistant, Expert by Experience PPIE Lead, and Public Engagement Lead. &nbsp;</p><p>The role will also involve working closely with the academic staff leading the research programmes, and with research staff and students working in the centre.</p><p id="isPasted"><strong>Role purpose</strong></p><p>To ensure that the voices, experiences, and priorities of children, young people and their families meaningfully shape the direction, delivery and impact of the Bath Mental Health Research Group (MHRG).&nbsp;</p><p>The post holder will develop, support and sustain high-quality PPIE activity across the MHRG, embedding inclusive, ethical and youth centred involvement practices throughout the research lifecycle.</p><p id="isPasted"><strong>Role summary</strong></p><p>The PPIE Coordinator will work closely with the research team in the MHRG to support implementation of the PPIE and Research Inclusion strategy across all research activities, spanning the research lifecycle from planning, execution, analysis, write-up and dissemination. &nbsp;</p><p>The post holder will monitor and evaluate PPIE impact and provide clear feedback loops to demonstrate how public contributions influence research decisions. &nbsp;</p><p>The post-holder will provide expert help and consultation to early career researchers in the MHRG (including placement students, PhD students, research assistants/associates) to plan, carry out, and evaluate their PPIE activities. &nbsp;</p><p>The post holder will have a good understanding of research methods, a strong commitment to and knowledge about inclusion of lived experience in research, excellent administration and project management skills, and enjoy communicating in writing and verbally with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Additional information</strong></p><p>This position is 0.6 FTE, and is funded until December 2029.</p><p>The role will be complementary to existing roles in the MHRG, including the Public Engagement Lead (0.4 FTE) and Expert by Experience PPIE Lead (0.2 FTE).&nbsp;</p><p>Please contact the MHRG Director, Professor Pamela Jacobsen (pcj25@bath.ac.uk), if you would like to discuss the role further, or to arrange a campus visit.</p><p>We consider ourselves to be a university where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged.             <p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>In 2026/27, the University of Bath is launching its new Inclusive Education framework and this role will play a vital role in ensuring anticipatory reasonable adjustments are available to all of our students consistently.&nbsp;</p><p>This role is focused on disability-related inclusion, though its impact will be far wider. &nbsp;</p><p>Alongside academic and Professional Service colleagues, you will be supporting the framework&#39;s roll-out and organising the effective use of a variety of staff training resources across three faculties: Humanities and Social Sciences, Engineering &amp; Design, and Science.&nbsp;</p><p>You will also be key to the evolving monitoring and evaluation of the framework&#39;s implementation and impact by designing reporting that is accurate, efficient, scalable, and actionable.&nbsp;</p><p>Day-to-day, you may also be involved in the bulk remediation of course and learning materials, liaising with specialist services, process-improvement work, and sharing your expertise with others in formal settings such as committees, departmental fora, and institution-wide working groups.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we&#39;re looking for</strong></p><p>Our ideal candidate will:</p><ul><li><strong>Communicate confidently and clearly:</strong> They will be comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders, and individuals and large groups in-person and online.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>They will be able to write with fluency and accuracy for a variety of audiences and situations, communicating complex requirements effectively.</li><li><strong>Work systematically and transparently</strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>They will be highly organised and adept at using Office productivity software so that reporting and the allocation of training resources maximises its cost-effectiveness and impact. Working closely with the Head of Student Performance Sport, you will provide strategic direction and operational leadership to a team of specialist practitioners, ensuring that services are aligned, evidence-informed, and focused on delivering meaningful impact for athletes.</p><p>You will operate within a collaborative, interdisciplinary performance support team, bringing together expertise across physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and other specialist services. Our extensive offerings encompass undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes, alongside tailored executive education options for both individuals and organisations. With a dedicated team of over 180 teaching and research professionals, complemented by a support staff of around 100 managerial and administrative experts (referred to as Professional Services), we cultivate a vibrant working environment.</p><p>The academic wing of the School of Management is split into four Divisions. In each, academic leadership comes from a Head of Division and Subject Group Leads with the Academic Services Managers and two Divisional Coordinators providing Professional Services Support.</p><h2>About the role</h2><p>Working as part of the wider Dean&rsquo;s Office, this is an exciting opportunity to learn about and contribute to the strategic aims of the School as part of the Academic Support team.</p><p>On a day-to-day basis you will provide administrative support for designated areas of work and activities within two academic divisions in SoM. This will involve dealing with a wide range of matters, sometimes of a confidential nature and includes interaction with high profile internal colleagues and external visitors to the Division and School.             <p id="isPasted">The University of Bath has an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital professional to act as the University&rsquo;s project lead for the first phase of our strategic website project: the audit, assessment and discovery phase.</p><h2><strong id="isPasted">About the role</strong></h2><p>Working closely with the University&rsquo;s appointed agency partner, internal project team, project manager and sponsor, you will play a leading role in the institutional review process, helping to assess the current web ecosystem and shape evidence-based recommendations for the future. The outcome of the review is not predetermined, and the role will be central in supporting the University to evaluate future opportunities and direction.</p><p>Acting as the key strategic interface between the University, external partners and internal specialists, you will help shape the direction of the review and ensure that emerging recommendations are evidence based and aligned to organisational priorities, user needs and operational realities. You will support effective collaboration across stakeholders and ensure that outputs are credible, practical and aligned to the University&rsquo;s context and ambitions.</p><h2><strong>About you</strong></h2><ul><li>Proven experience of leading complex digital discovery or review projects within large, complex organisations.</li><li>Strong appreciation and understanding of digital experience principles, including user needs, experience and interface design, content and digital platforms.             <p id="isPasted">Enhancing the student experience and outcomes is a core strategic priority for the University of Bath and we are now seeking to appoint an experienced Department Strategic Manager (Student Experience).</p><p>The Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is ambitious and committed to further strengthening the quality, consistency and sustainability of the student experience. This role represents a targeted investment to support that ambition, ensuring that improvement activity is well coordinated, evidence-based and capable of being sustained over the longer term.</p><h2>About the role</h2><p>You will be embedded within the Department and will take a strategic lead in developing a clear, prioritised and realistic long-term action plan to enhance the student experience. Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, the role will focus on coordinating activity, aligning priorities and translating insight into practical and sustainable action.</p><p>A key outcome of the appointment will be to ensure that the action plan is fully developed, clearly communicated and owned by the Department, so that it is ready to be taken forward by colleagues beyond the end of the fixed-term period.</p><p>This is a strategic and enabling role, designed to create the conditions, structures and shared understanding needed to support sustained improvement over the medium to long term.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Analyse student experience data and existing initiatives to identify key themes, risks and opportunities.</li><li>Design and coordinate a coherent, evidence-informed improvement programme that aligns with University strategy and regulatory expectations.</li><li>Develop a practical, long-term action plan with clear ownership, milestones and measures of success.</li><li>Support colleagues to embed new ways of working and transition activity into business-as-usual delivery.</li><li>Coordinate communication, reporting and engagement to ensure transparency and shared understanding across the Department.</li></ul><h2><strong>Further information&nbsp;</strong></h2><p>This role is offered on a part-time basis, working 21.9 hours per week (0.6 FTE) for a fixed-term period until July 2027.             <p id="isPasted">We have an opportunity for a Support Coordinator to join our small team in the Department of Campus Infrastructure.&nbsp;</p><p>Campus Infrastructure is a diverse and busy department covering the development, maintenance and upkeep of the University&rsquo;s buildings.</p><p>The role is varied and the team acts as the central function to co-ordinate all maintenance work received from staff, working closely with the Office and Workshop teams to provide reactive and planned maintenance across the Estate. The post is diverse and involves dealing with a wide range of matters in support of the various functions of the Department.</p><h2>About you</h2><p>You should be able to prioritise workload in a reactive environment and have:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>strong organisational skills.</li><li>previous experience in an administrative background.</li><li>excellent customer service and communication skills.</li><li>an ability to use your own initiate and problem solve.</li><li>be able to prioritise workload in a reactive environment.</li></ul><p>A good understanding of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel is required but training will be given in the use of University specific software such as Archibus and Agresso.</p><h2>Further information</h2><p>This role is offered on a full-time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis. Core hours are between 8.00am and 4.20pm and scheduled among the team so flexibility is important, working on campus 5 days per week.             <p id="isPasted">The Access and Participation Impact team at the University of Bath is looking for someone who enjoys working with data and turning numbers into clear useful insights.</p><h2 id="isPasted">About us</h2><p>The team is responsible for engaging and supporting students from under-represented students to progress to university particularly to Bath to achieve goals set out in the University&#39;s Access and Participation Plan. The team is well established and passionate about supporting students and are a fairly informal group. Due to the nature of the work there is flexibility with working times, much of the work is structured around the school day so many events happen in the afternoons, evenings or weekends. The work the team delivers is varied and ranges from in school and online activity to campus based events as well as sustained programmes for groups of students. The team works a lot with third sector organisations to be able to support as many students as possible.</p><h2 id="isPasted">About the role</h2><p>As our Data and Evaluation Officer, you will</p><ul><li>play a central role in monitoring the impact of the University&rsquo;s outreach, access and participation intervention, programmes and projects.</li><li>support the measurement of progress towards targets, goals and objectives as set out in our Access and Participation Plan (APP) .</li><li>be a key member of the Access and Participation Impact team, working alongside the Head of Impact to monitor progress towards our APP targets and milestones.</li></ul><p>You&rsquo;ll collaborate with the APP Impact Manager (Monitoring) to share insights across the institution and encourage engagement. You will also work with the APP Impact Manager (Evaluation) to deliver our ten core research projects. These projects require advanced quantitative skills, including cleaning, modelling and analysing large and complex datasets.</p><p>A key element of the role is providing advice and guidance on evaluation to colleagues across the University. You will support teams, in particular within the Student Recruitment and Admissions department, to improve their data management and analytical approaches, ensuring that evaluation activity meets a consistently high standard. You will also support colleagues to analyse, interpret and report on their findings.</p><h2>About you</h2><p id="isPasted">The ideal candidate will bring expert skills in data extraction and manipulation from a range of systems and sources, alongside the ability to analyse report on and present data in appropriate formats for internal and external audiences.</p><p>As a highly numerate and expert user of tools such as Python, Stata, SPSS, R and/or MS Excel, you will analyse student and survey data to identify trends in access and participation outcomes across the student lifecycle. We are currently building a brand-new University Data Hub in the AWS cloud, completely replacing an old on-premises solution which will be retired. The production UDH will transform and integrate data from as many sources as required, including live operating data, key data snapshots, and external datasets.
