Role

As a Buddhist local visiting faith leader, Jason is available to provide professional pastoral care, and also advice and support on matters of religion and belief within the university.

Jason's practice of Nichiren Buddhism began more than 35 years ago and he is part of the team that supports Buddhist practitioners across Somerset. He lectures regularly on Nichiren Buddhist teachings and their application to daily life. He is always happy to provide groups and individuals with an introduction to Nichiren Buddhism and the SGI. Jason has worked as an academic in the Department of Social & Policy Sciences at the University since 2009.
