Role

I have worked at the University since July 2019. Prior to this, I worked at Bath Spa University as the Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager. I am a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Mental Health First aider and coach and mentor. I have worked in FE in carpentry and joinery and as a DT teacher in a secondary school.

Wellbeing statement

In a rapidly changing workplace, it is important for us to be proactive in supporting all colleagues in maintaining good health and wellbeing. We all have different thresholds, and what is stimulating for one, may be the source of unmanageable stress for another.

Interests

I’m a bit of a collector of musical instruments with over ten vintage guitars. I also like to write and sing and have a small studio in my garden I find immersing myself in music an excellent way to relax. I am a member of the University gym and find that exercise goes a long way to helping maintain good health and wellbeing.
