Role

Emad is a Careers Consultant and the strategic lead for both the School of Management and international student cohorts. In this capacity, he delivers tailored 1-1 coaching and strategic consultancy, guiding students to identify their ideal career trajectories, cultivate high-demand professional competencies, and navigate application processes. Emad also designs and facilitates high-impact workshops across a broad spectrum of careers and employability themes.

Emad’s coaching philosophy is firmly rooted in holistic self-development. He specialises in partnering with reflective individuals who possess a genuine passion for self-growth. Adopting an action-oriented approach, Emad utilises the power of skill recognition and active reflection, translating insights into tangible, measurable goals that ensure continuous progression beyond each coaching session.

Emad brings a rich, multi-faceted breadth of knowledge to his role, underpinned by unique international experience and a proven track record in talent acquisition. Having navigated the UK higher education system as an international student himself, he possesses a deep, first-hand understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by global cohorts.

Driven by a lifelong passion for human development, Emad intentionally built a career that bridges corporate recruitment and professional coaching. He possesses robust corporate insight gained through a specialised HR placement and subsequent corporate experience as a Recruitment Consultant, giving him an insider’s understanding of what modern employers look for. To formalise his expertise in human potential, Emad completed a rigorous training programme aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has since successfully deployed these forward-looking methodologies across diverse educational landscapes, serving as an Apprenticeship Coach and as a Careers Consultant at both Coventry University and Anglia Ruskin University. This extensive background equips Emad with a comprehensive understanding of the modern job market, employment pathways, and the psychological frameworks necessary to drive student success.
