Role
I offer careers advice, guidance, and support to our University of Bath postgraduate students through personalised one-to-one career clinics, interactive workshops, and events. My focus is on empowering postgraduate students to make informed decisions about their career paths, develop employability skills, and successfully transition into the workplace or further academic pursuits.
Career
The University of Bath has provided me with the opportunity to start my exciting new journey in careers and employability coaching after 30 years in different corporate environments. I started at Bath in 2024 within the Faculty of Engineering and Design as a postgraduate Placement Officer.
For the previous 22 years, I worked within the Medical Device industry across different countries in a variety of roles, including Sales and Marketing, General Management, Company Integration and Divestiture, Project Management and Business Development.
The catalyst for moving into Careers and Employability coaching was driven by my underlying passion for supporting and mentoring young talent as they progressed within the company. With extensive experience in interviews and recruitment processes, I am particularly energised when coaching students to discover what they can bring to an interview and have the confidence to be the very best during the recruitment journey.
Education
I have a BSc in Food Marketing & Business Studies.
