Dr Adegbenro Peter Daso Contracts Officer
Providing research contracts between the University and external collaborators.
Role
Peter is responsible for:
- reviewing and negotiating research contracts, including but not limited to collaboration, confidentiality and studentship agreements, and MTAs
- liaising with academics and stakeholders for background information
- ensuring implications to the University are understood and resolved
- preparing research-related agreements with external collaborators
- recording activities and archiving signed contracts
Career
Peter was a recipient of the prestigious University of Pretoria Vice Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2013 where he worked as a Research Fellow at the university’s Department of Chemistry. He worked in a similar position at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa and Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa before joining the University of Bath in 2020.
