Role

I am based in the Department of Health and work as the Academic Programme and Digital Learning Lead for some of our distance learning MSc programmes. I am responsible for helping to keep the programmes running smoothly and for implementing new digital technologies for the benefit for staff and students alike.

Wellbeing statement

Having had my own struggles with poor mental health, I know how important a helping hand can be − whether formally or informally. Too many of us struggle without knowing where to turn and I see the Wellbeing Champions as an integral part of a fully formed mental health support network.

Interests

Computer games are my go-to for de-stressing and relaxation, but I also enjoy reading and listening to podcasts (but not at the same time). I am developing an interest in woodwork, despite not being able to saw in a straight line, and hope to have a workshop of my own to tinker about in soon.
