Career

I am the Doctoral Training and Events Officer working in the Doctoral College.

I have worked for over ten years in higher education and I am dedicated to supporting students to achieve their goals and realise their potential. I have supported students one-to-one and in groups and facilitated at both University and Faculty-wide events.

I have managerial and supervisory experience gained in previous roles as well as in my current role where I regularly recruit and manage Doctoral student teams to facilitate activities and events. In previous roles, in addition to providing student CV and interview support (during their placements), I have supported students in an advice setting. I am flexible as to the topics I would be happy to coach but I am particularly interested in supporting doctoral students with their personal or professional development.
