Career
Horst Feldmann has been at the University of Bath since 2006. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Hamburg (Germany) in 1990. From 1991 to 2005, he worked in the Department of Economics at the University of Tübingen (Germany), where he was awarded the titles ‘Privatdozent’ in 1998 and ‘Apl. Professor’ in 2006. He held visiting positions at the University of Washington, George Mason University, Clarkson University (USA) and at the University of Ulm (Germany).
Horst Feldmann is one of the top 1% of authors on the list, ‘Number of journal pages, weighted by number of authors’, compiled by Research Papers in Economics (RePEc). His publications include three books, more than eighty papers in refereed journals and numerous chapters in edited books. His papers have been published in, among others, Journal of Comparative Economics, Public Choice, Economics Letters and Southern Economic Journal.
