Dr David Moon Elected by the members of Senate
Will undertake the responsibilities of members of governing bodies as set out in the CUC Guide for Members of Higher Education Governing Bodies in the UK.
Role
Dr David Moon was elected by the members of Senate to the Council of the University of Bath from 1 August 2022 for a period of three years.
Career
David S. Moon is Senior Lecturer in Politics. He joined the University of Bath in 2014, having previously worked at the University of Liverpool. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Sheffield in 2011.
His research broadly focuses on two themes: (i) the application of contemporary political theory to the study of political communication and campaigning; and (ii) post-devolution UK politics and sub-state political parties. A list of publications can be found on his university website.
He teaches across a range of units covering political theory and UK politics, amongst other areas. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
