Career

I’m a second-year Economics student at the University of Bath. When I came to university, I quickly realised how difficult it can be to balance coursework, societies, friends, and the demands of applying for spring weeks and internships. Spending countless hours researching opportunities and figuring out where to start taught me the importance of starting early and knowing where to look. This is what motivated me to become a Student Employability Coach, so I can help students save time and feel more confident with their CVs, applications and cover letters.

Alongside my studies, I’ve explored careers in finance through internships, applications, networking and events with organisations including Blackstone, ICG, HG, UBS and KPMG. These experiences have helped me understand what recruiters look for and how to approach applications effectively, and I hope to share this knowledge with students interested in any career path.

Over the summer, I completed a Bath Insights Internship analysing accommodation survey data and presenting recommendations to University teams. This developed my ability to take complex information and communicate it clearly, which I hope to use when helping students present their own experiences effectively.

Outside Careers, I’m Chair of TEDxBathUniversity, where I run workshops focused on public speaking and communication. I’m also an Ambassador for SEO London and upReach, where I’m creating careers-focused content and supporting students from less-connected backgrounds.

Outside of university, I enjoy eating cinnamon buns, laughing with friends and reading.
