Hi! I’m Angelika, a second-year International Management student and a Student Employability Coach.

I’m ambitious and friendly, and I love meeting as many people as I can. I’m local to Bath, so I commute to university, but I’ve always wanted to get as involved in the university community as possible. I love business, economics and sustainability, and one of my favourite things about university is the large international student community.

I’ve always enjoyed helping people with CVs and applications. Even when I was applying to university, I somehow ended up helping most of my friends with their applications! Becoming a Student Employability Coach felt like a natural extension of that, and I particularly enjoy helping with LinkedIn. I really like being able to help other students feel more confident about presenting themselves and finding opportunities.

Alongside the Careers Service, I’m Co-Head of Initi8 at Bath Entrepreneurs, where I work with businesses to create opportunities for students through internships. I’ve also completed the Bath Award and taken part in a moot competition. I’m definitely someone who struggles to sit still for too long; I’m always looking for another project, society or completely random task to fill my time!

Outside of university, I love travelling, gaming and anime. My favourite trip so far was spending two and a half weeks travelling around China on my own at 16, which was such a good experience and definitely made me want to travel more. At the moment, I’m also very invested in watching House M.D., although I’m not sure my new interest in diagnosing fictional patients counts as an employability skill!
