Career

I am currently a 2nd year student studying Chemistry. I enjoy how my course allows me to learn theoretical concepts and principles within our lectures, which can then be applied within our laboratory experiments. As I am on the BSc (Hons) Chemistry with Professional Placement course, I'm currently applying to a variety of different placements. I believe this will be really useful as I'm looking forward to gaining real world industry experience.

This year, I became a Student Employability Coach as I would like to help students create effective applications that will lead to positive outcomes within their employability journey. My favourite part of this role is the opportunity to meet new people each day and hear about their varying career aspirations.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading which is why I became the treasurer of the LitSoc society this year.
