Career

My role as a Student Employability Coach involves supporting university students with their job applications, helping them secure placements and future jobs.

I am currently in my second year of studying Psychology with a Professional Placement, the journey so far has been a great learning curve in which I have learnt lots of new skills and furthered my interest in psychology - I hope to apply skills gained from my degree to this new role. One of the biggest challenges of university is figuring out what your future career looks like. The Careers Centre at Bath has made me much more confident about applications and thinking about my career and the skills I want to develop. This is something I am excited to carry forward to students as they progress to future roles.

Alongside studying and the opportunities that the University provides, I have worked in many client-focused roles including retail and hospitality both of which I really enjoyed because of their interpersonal nature. I developed my skills in communication, organisation, teamwork and problem-solving, providing me with a valuable set of skills I am excited to use in my new role.

Outside of my degree, I love dance, running, music and exploring all the great things Bath has to offer, I'm originally from Brighton so I'm very lucky to have two amazing cities to call home!
