Role
James has over 20 years of experience in Higher Education. As Head of Registry Services within Academic Registry he leads with a focus on person-centred service design and systems thinking. His role encompasses a range of education lifecycle services, ensuring that the institution's operations align with the needs of students and staff.
As a coach, James is focused on providing a safe, reflective space to explore challenges and identify opportunities for sustained personal and professional growth.

Career
James is a senior manager within Academic Registry, responsible for service design and delivery across a range of core education lifecycle services.
With a background in data analysis in local government, James moved into the Higher Education sector in the early 2000. James has held key positions in Academic Registry at Bath leading student and staff-facing services such as timetabling, exams and graduation as well as providing student systems expertise, data analysis and reporting.
