Marie Salter BA (Hons), PG Dip Head of Technology Enhanced Learning
Responsible for managing a team of TEL specialists to provide proactive support to the University community in the use of TEL to deliver teaching and learning.
Role
Marie's role includes:
- supporting the strategic development and implementation of TEL at the University of Bath
- leading and managing the development of MOOCs at the University, in partnership with FutureLearn
- working with senior academic stakeholders to effectively deliver innovation TEL solutions to meet the needs of the academic community
- liaising with colleagues internally and externally to ensure the reliability of our learning and teaching infrastructure
- exploring the potential of new technologies to enhance the student experience
- contributing to national and international conferences relating to technology enhanced learning provision and developments
- undertaking research into MOOCs and MOOC developments
