Lizzi Milligan Internal Coach
Member of the University of Bath internal coaching network.
Role
Lizzi has worked at the University of Bath for more than 10 years as an academic in the Department of Education. Having previously had a very positive experience of coaching after returning from maternity leave, she is a strong advocate for coaching as a support mechanism for identifying how wellbeing and career goals can be mutually beneficial.
As a coach, Lizzi creates space for supportive and challenging conversations that enable coachees to understand what matters most for them and how they can move forward confidently. As someone with a long-term health condition, she is particularly interested in the ways that coaching can support personal growth, nurture work-life balance and challenge inequitable structural constraints.
Research
Particular areas of interest in relation to coaching:
- Maintaining wellbeing and balance
- Career development with an EDI perspective

She is committed to leading (and coaching) in ways that supports everyone to do the work that most fulfils them.
