Role
Ruth manages relationships between the University and Ministries and Sponsors. This includes the development of partnerships and networks with Ministries and Sponsors, liaison between Ministry and Sponsor, academic and other key professional service departments within the University and management of Ministry and Sponsor and student support and enquiries.
The collective priorities for the International Relations Office are:
- identifying our external and internal relationships to aid our collaborative working in order to grow our international reputation
- providing excellent customer service - student experience being at the heart of what we do
- showcasing the outputs of the International Relations Office
Career
Ruth has 14 years’ experience building international partnerships in the education sector. Before joining Bath in April 2022, she worked as the Head of International Scholarships in the South African Department of Higher Education and Training. Ruth has lived and worked for short periods in the USA and Taiwan.
Education
Ruth completed a Master’s in International Studies at the University of Stellenbosch and holds an Honours degree in International Relations from the University of Cape Town.
