Sarah Turner International Partnerships Manager

Sarah plays an active role in advancing the University’s global partnerships and raising Bath’s international profile.

Role

Sarah provides expertise and support to the International Partnerships Team in the development and management of international partnerships, networks and alliances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of IRO-led funding schemes, including the Global Chair Scheme and the University's FAPESP applications.
  • Developing partnerships, and promoting ownership of collaboration initiatives.
  • Supporting and coordinating academic and non-academic partnership activities.
  • Representing the International Relations team both internally and externally as needed.

Career

Sarah lived and worked in London for five years before joining the university in 2022 as a Department Coordinator in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Sarah previously worked in the film and television industry, both in in-house development/production teams and on-set in film production team roles.

Education

Sarah graduated with a BA in Film and Broadcasting from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2014. Sarah holds a TOPIK (Korean language) certificate and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in International Relations with the University of Cambridge in 2025.

Sarah is a member of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP).
