Lou Piper SWC IT Support Technician

Staff Wellbeing Champion

Role

I studied IT in College and University. In my first IT role I taught basic IT skills to all ages, helping to improve employability. I am now working in an IT service desk role to build my experience.

Wellbeing statement

There have been times in my life I just felt like I would be burdening people with my problems, but I found talking helped. Talking about all challenges in life, no matter how big or small you think they are, is great. Knowing someone is taking time to listen helps take some of that weight off your shoulders. I am here to do that, to listen and support.

Interests

I love learning new things, be it in Technology or in life. I like cars and have been a motor sport marshal for BARC and travelled to tracks to see trucks, bikes, classic cars to formula fords. I post a lot of positive quotes on my social account − not only to remind me to keep positive, but to help others get through their days.
