Role
Sophie is responsible for:
- managing the recruitment process of KTP Associates at the University
- inducting candidates to the KTP programmes
- ongoing support of KTP Associates with industry partners
Sophie also supports the Local Management Committees, with the Industrial Partnership Managers, when a KTP has been awarded.
Career
Sophie started work at the University in 2007 as a Human Resources Administrator. From 2013 she then worked as a Postgraduate Administrator until 2018 when she joined RIS working at the Innovation Centre as Membership and ERDF Programme Assistant until 2022. After a secondment as Project Administrator in the Tobacco Control Research Group, Sophie re-joined RIS to her current role as KTP Recruitment and Administration Officer.
Education
Sophie graduated from Bath Spa University with a bachelor's with honours degree in Psychology and Health Studies.
