Role

I am a statistics lecturer with a strong focus on teaching and its pedagogical aspects in my discipline. I'm passionate about making statistics accessible through inclusive approaches (interactive activities, flipped learning, and history).

I also serve as a PGT Director of Studies. I represent teaching-focused staff on the department’s EDI Committee and have co-founded the Maths Café initiative.

Wellbeing statement

I'm committed to building a supportive, inclusive community where my colleagues feel connected, valued, and able to thrive. I believe that creating positive, collaborative environments for staff is essential to fostering meaningful learning experiences for students, reflecting a principle at the heart of my values: “Education is an act of care, care is about community, and community builds education.”

Interests

I love cooking and DIY projects, as well as anime and manga. I'm a book hoarder and occasional reader, a Sudoku enthusiast, and love singing my heart out.
