Alice Gianella Research Governance Administrator
Responsible for providing administrative support in research governance areas, including Trusted Research, Human Tissue, Research Integrity and Research Ethics.
Role
Alice is responsible for:
- Acting as a first point of contact for research governance queries and communications
- Providing administrative support for all research governance, ethics, and integrity related matters
- Supporting projects for research governance, assurance, Sponsorship, Open Research and training
- Supporting meetings, committees, and steering groups
Alice works part time and distributes her working week Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Career
Alice joined the Research Governance and Compliance Team in February 2025 after returning from Maternity Leave.
Prior to this position, Alice worked as a Programmes Administrator in the Department of Economics for three years supporting the Undergraduate programmes. She brings her previous ten years of administrative experience to support and increase the efficiency of the Research Governance and Compliance Team.
Education
Alice holds a BA (Hons) in Special Educational Needs from University of St Mark and St John, Plymouth.
