Fran Baber Research Integrity Manager
Responsible for supporting research governance at Bath and the delivery of the University's research integrity agenda. Secretary to Data & Digital Science REC.
Role
Fran is responsible for:
The development and implementation of operating processes and administrative systems related to research integrity.
Supporting activities related to the Concordat to Support Research Integrity and Open Research.
Providing advice and guidance on research integrity matters.
Providing support for further development of the Ethics@Bath online system.
Assisting with the University’s transition to a revised ethics governance system.
Secretarial duties to the Data & Digital Sciences Research Ethics Committee.
Career
Since graduating with a MSc from Bath, Fran has worked as a researcher within the Department for Health, Department of Psychology and School of Management. Fran has previously worked in Human Resources at the University of Bristol and has a background in health and social care from her work in the NHS and adult social services.
Education
Fran holds a MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Bath.
