Role
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the research and policy landscape related to research governance.
- Developing institutional research policies and procedures that meet legal, ethical and regulatory standards.
- Implementing institutional-level research policies by producing clear guidance for researchers on external policy and legislation affecting research.
- Undertaking in depth research and analysis to ensure policies are evidence-based and reflect sector best practice
Career
Before joining the University of Bath, Liv worked in academic publishing including a role in research integrity at IOP Publishing . There, she managed publication ethics cases and contributed to company-wide policy development and implementation designed to strengthen research quality and ethical standards.
Education
Liv holds a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and PgDip in Science Communication from Cardiff University.
