I am responsible for the management and delivery of undergraduate scholarships and bursaries which are funded through the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP) or through philanthropic donations.

Why I become a Menopause Champion

As a manager and someone who has yet to experience perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms, I am very keen to increase my knowledge around the area in order to best support those around me. I think it’s very important to understand what your colleagues may be going through and to feel confident signposting or discussing workplace provisions. Some may find it difficult discussing what they are going through, so talking more openly about it and providing a safe space to discuss the menopause are the first steps in breaking the stigma.
