Paul Spreadbury SWC Security Officer
Staff Wellbeing Champion
Role
I have been working as a security officer since May 2023 after working in child social care in the local authority and before that as a PCSO with Bath police. The security officer role is a very varied role, a lot more than just maintaining the security of the buildings overall, it’s to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and students on and off campus. We’re also a 24-hour service for staff and students when they need help.
Wellbeing statement
Our wellbeing is very important in our daily lives and working lives. I feel it’s important for people to know where to turn if they are struggling at work and I can see how having someone to talk to without fear of judgment is very important.
Interests
Having young children doesn’t give a lot of time for interests and hobbies but I do enjoy supporting Bath Rugby and meeting up with friends.
