Dr Cécile Jenkins Senior Coaching Consultant

Role

Cécile Jenkins is one of two Senior Coaching Consultants at the University’s Centre for Coaching & Leadership, delivering individual, team and group coaching, as well as providing mentoring and supervision to other internal coaches. With a particular interest in maintaining a healthy and balanced working life while achieving high performance, Cécile specialises in integrated Executive and Leadership Coaching. She enjoys working with people who are reflective, keen to learn, and motivated to deepen their self‑awareness and confidence in their roles.

Cécile is a professionally accredited member of the ICF and EMCC and holds the Executive Coaching qualification from Henley Business School.

Originally from the Netherlands, Cécile has lived in the UK for almost 30 years and is based in rural Gloucestershire with her family.

Career

With over 20 years’ experience in UK higher education, Cécile has delivered around 1,000 one‑to‑one coaching sessions across 20 countries, alongside numerous group coaching and development sessions across the UK and EMEA. She works with clients from a wide range of sectors.

Before becoming a professional coach a few years ago, Cécile held senior roles in internal and change communications, most notably as Global Head of Internal Communications at Oxford University Press. Her career has been rooted in supporting organisational transformation, leadership and change, following earlier roles at the University of Oxford after completing her doctorate at the University of Reading.

Alongside her part‑time role at the University of Bath, Cécile continues to run her independent coaching practice, Working Life. She works with organisations such as Spotify, Netflix, Accenture and AstraZeneca through her partnership with global coaching companies including Ezra and InPD, as well as directly with the University of Oxford, the London School of Economics & Political Science, and King’s College London.
