Nicola Riley Staff Health & Wellbeing Manager

Member of the University of Bath internal coaching network and the doctoral coaching network.

Role

Nicola is the Manager of staff health and wellbeing and has over 20 years’ experience designing and leading workplace health, wellbeing and performance programmes. Her career spans multiple sectors, including the NHS, Pharmaceuticals, local government, and financial services. She has extensive experience working within complex, global matrix structures, often working with the US.

Nicola is passionate about creating meaningful change. She combines analytical thinking with a people-focused and solution-oriented approach. Naturally optimistic and creative, she finds deep fulfilment in helping others overcome challenges to be at their best and thrive.

Nicola holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion, is an ICF accredited coach, and recently completed a Diploma in Menopause Coaching.

Career

Nicola works within Human Resources as part of Safety, Health and Employee Wellbeing. She leads the strategic approach to staff health and wellbeing, including the staff elements of Be Well at Bath, Wellbeing Champions, and wellbeing networks. She also oversees the HSE Management Standards approach. Her role involves collaboration across all areas of the University and at every level.
