Career

Otter is a Teaching Fellow in the Skills Centre teaching students skills, such as essay writing or reading effectively, that they need to do their degrees. She came to Bath for the summer 26 years ago and somehow stayed. Before then she lived and worked in Japan, Poland and Italy, mostly teaching English, and she speaks those languages to very varying degrees.

Otter's background and experience has led her to interests in varied cultural and language experiences and, as someone with lived experience of a disability herself, she is interested in coaching around disability and long term conditions.
