Corinne Evans Vice-President (External Relations)
Leading the Marketing, Communications and External Affairs department, delivering services to the University to enhance its profile and reputation externally.
Role
Corinne joined the University of Bath in 2016, becoming Vice-President (External Relations) in August 2023.
Corinne leads our Marketing, Communications and External Relations function. She works with her team to support the University's strategy through effective marketing, communications and engagement activities. These enhance the University's national, local, and international reputation, and student and staff experience.
Her key areas of focus are:
- enhancing the University’s reputation for high quality, high impact research and education
- supporting the University to attract a diverse range of talent globally and domestically
- enhancing student and staff experience through effective, two-way engagement
- building effective local & regional relationships to support sustainable growth
- developing the University’s brand to empower people to choose the University of Bath.
Career
Corinne joined the University following a 15-year career in the third sector working for humanitarian, environmental and animal welfare charities, including heading Media and External Relations at the British Red Cross. Having started her career in government relations, she has a particular interest in bringing disciplines together to create effective, integrated campaigns.
Education
Corinne gained her politics degree from the University of Nottingham. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
