Jodie Lintern Visiting Chaplain

Jodie was appointed in September 2025 as a Visiting Chaplain available for all students and staff, supported by the Methodist church.

Role

Jodie is a newly serving visiting chaplain at the university supporting the chaplaincy team's work.

Career

Jodie serves as the Student Outreach Chaplain with the Methodist Church, supporting students of all faiths and none to explore life, faith, meaning and community. She's available in the Chaplaincy every Tuesday for Soup@12 (12–2pm) and Brew@2 (2–4pm), safe spaces for good chats, warm food, and open conversation.

You’ll also find her around the STV and university pitches on Wednesdays, offering support to student athletes, and in Oldfield Park on Mondays and Thursdays for meetings with students.

Before working in chaplaincy, Jodie played professional football for Birmingham City FC. She found faith while at university here in Bath and is passionate about creating spaces where students can explore big questions and encounter God in authentic, down-to-earth ways.
