This standard describes the University's arrangements to identify and manage risks (health, safety and legislative risks) arising from handling, storage, processing and disposal of hazardous waste. The standard describes the roles and responsibilities of all involved in managing producing or working with hazardous waste.

The standard was reviewed and agreed at UHSC June 2020. The next scheduled review is June 2023.
