Overview of Student Immigration policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UKVI requirements

This document provides an overview of the integrated framework of student immigration related policies, procedures and guidance which are in place to ensure the University of Bath maintains compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulatory requirements.

All policies, procedures and guidance are developed and kept under review by the Student Immigration Service (SIS), who is responsible for safeguarding the University’s Student sponsor licence and Student sponsor track record of compliance. They are in keeping with the guiding principles of UKVI’s Student sponsor duties (Sponsor guidance 2.1 & 2.2) and aim to show ‘that [the University] can fulfil and [is] fulfilling, these sponsor duties in order to gain and retain a Student sponsor licence’.
