We are a team of academics and researchers working across automotive, aerospace, marine, and off-highway sectors to lead innovation in propulsion and mobility.
Our research includes:
- improving the efficiency of emerging sustainable propulsion technologies through
- sustainable fuels-based propulsion
- hydrogen-based propulsion systems
- electrification and batteries
- finding ways to positively influence sustainable mobility choices
- developing new models for the physical and digital infrastructures that reduce mobility's environmental impact
- ensuring safe, responsible, and human-compatible digitalisation and virtualisation of the product development process, leading to new design philosophies for complex propulsion and mobility systems
