Due to the need to connect the new School of Management building to the University’s drainage system, a temporary diversion to the flow needs to be made. This will happen in the small delivery road that runs between the Edge and the STV which will be temporarily blocked for about a week, starting on Monday 7 February.
All vehicles will be able to get down to the bin store at the back of the STV, but the impact will be to any deliveries to the Edge workshop/plant room which will not be possible whilst this work is going on. The fire exits will also be temporarily rerouted but there will be signage put up to make evacuation clear in case of an emergency. A fire tender will still be able to get through in an emergency.
