We are delighted to announce that University of Bath graduate, Sam Linfield will be exhibiting ECOZE at the Bath Digital Festival, organised by techSPARK, as part of the Emerging Technologies Showcase on Monday 10 July.

Winning the Graduate StartUp of the Year at the National StartUp Awards for the South West in June 2023, ECOZE has been developed with support from SETsquared and Enterprise Bath at the University’s Innovation Centre.

Sam’s idea for ECOZE came about due to a lack of information about the environmental impact of the products and companies he uses, leading him to develop ‘The Planet’s most powerful Carbon Footprint Tracker’ allowing individuals to understand and reduce their environmental footprint.

He says:

I am really excited to be showcasing ECOZE at the Bath Digital Festival. ECOZE has made remarkable strides in the past six months, following two rigorous years of trial and error, all in pursuit of the optimal solution to support our planet's fight against climate change. The support from SETsquared and Enterprise Bath has been nothing short of indispensable, helping us navigate through the most challenging obstacles and periods of uncertainty. Now, onwards and upwards to launch!

Sam will be on hand to showcase ECOZE, along with other new tech solution showcases from companies including Rocketmakers, Gravitywell, Fluff Software, Intelligent Brief and more. The event will give visitors the opportunity to meet inventors and founders working on the ideas of tomorrow and allow the creators to have space to collaborate.

If you are working in, or just interested in tech, then register here: Emerging Technology Showcase, Monday 10 July 2023 9.30am at Carpenter House, Broad Quay Bath BA1 1UB.
