The World Olympians Association (WOA) is looking for people of all ages from the general population (i.e. people who have not competed at an Olympic Games) to fill in a 20-minute online survey (password: health2018), as part of its Olympians Health Study. You can be of any age, over 16 years, and we are particularly looking for those over 40 years of age.

This global study is the first-ever commissioned to better understand the long-term health of Olympians after they retire. To date it has had over 4000 Olympians from over 130 countries take part.

Now we need members of the general public to take part, so we can compare the data with Olympians, which will allow us to:

  • Understand the main long-term health issues related to Olympic-level performance

  • Generate new insights into those issues

  • Develop data-driven recommendations to safeguard and improve Olympians’ health.

If you complete the survey (Password: health2018), you'll be in with a chance to win great prizes including Swatch Watches and other Olympic gear.

The survey asks questions about your lifestyle and general health. The survey is best completed on a computer using the Chrome web browser.

Please help us by also sharing the survey link with your family, friends and co-workers.

If you have any questions, please contact health@olympian.org.

Thank you for your support.

Debbie and the WOA Team.
