The IT Acceptable Use Policy has been updated to include references to 'Prevent Duty'. The aim of Prevent is to stop people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.

What has changed

Section 2, titled "Acceptable Use," has undergone updates, specifically in subsections 2.1.1 and 2.1.3.

What this means for you

Please familiarise yourself with the revisions to ensure a clear understanding of what you may and may not do when you use the University's IT systems to ensure your compliance.
