How Bath Go works

How to use the app to pay for food and drink, earn loyalty points and access special offers.

Getting started

Once you download Bath Go from your app store, open it and sign up for an account using the link at the bottom of the screen.

If you are an Eat and Drink credit student, or have had an Eat and Drink account in the past, you will need to tap 'forgot password' the first time you use the app. This will send a password to your University email address, which you can then use to log in.

Once you are logged in, tap on the menu icon in the top right hand corner to access your account details. Here under ‘cards and devices’ you can add a new payment card.

Using Bath Go

Open the QR code located in the Loyalty section and scan this at the card reader to earn your points. Staff will then check which payment method you’d like to use; your usual payment card or phone, Eat and Drink credit, a linked payment card, loyalty points etc.

You can use Bath Go in all campus food and drink outlets except Fresh and The Plug in the Student's Union.

Loyalty

You earn three points for every whole £1 you spend. Each loyalty point is worth a value of 1p to spend in our food and drink outlets. You can redeem your points at any time, on any future purchase.

Open the QR code located in the Loyalty section and scan this at the card reader to collect your points.

Vouchers

Tap on the giftbox icon to view all the vouchers that are currently available. These are exclusive to Bath Go and are updated throughout the year.

Vouchers are not always automatically applied, so make sure you use your app with each purchase to make sure you don’t miss out.

You can set vouchers to automatically redeem on future purchases. Tap on the voucher and select ‘automatically apply for me’.

Digital receipts

Tap on the menu icon in the bottom right hand corner to view transaction history and access digital receipts of previous purchases.

Cashless payments

As we now operate as a cashless campus, Bath Go offers another way to pay in our outlets, even if you don't have your payment cards on you.

Notifications

By default, your account will have no notifications turned on. To receive notifications on new promotional offers, vouchers or to earn rewards by taking part in our surveys, tap the menu on the top left-hand side. Select ‘Account Details’ and scroll to the bottom of the page to advanced settings to control your notifications.

Bath Go doesn't work:

  • in Fresh
  • in the Plug and the Tub in the Students' Union
  • when using a Blue Card to make a purchase
