James O'Grady Postgraduate Taught Student Recruitment Manager

James is part of a team of PGT Student Recruitment Managers responsible for student recruitment in the UK and overseas.

Role

James is responsible for East Asia (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan), Central Asia (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Turkey) and the UK.

His role involves planning and implementing recruitment and promotional activities and counselling prospective students.

He also builds networks and maintains relationships with agents representing the University, governmental agencies, scholarship providers, alumni, and other education partners.

James has been working at the University of Bath since August 2017. Previously he had a role in the PGT Admissions office and spent the three years prior to joining Bath at an international student recruitment agency in Tokyo where he obtained British Council Agent training and helped students to achieve their goal of attending UK universities.
