Bath Open Research Group

The Bath Open Research Group is a postgraduate researcher-led group interested in making research more accessible, transparent and rigorous.

The group was set up to improve the quality, transparency and accessibility of the research conducted at the University. It aims to support early career researchers in developing open research skills and welcomes members from across disciplines and faculties. They meet every month in a hybrid format to discuss the latest developments in open research and to offer training and peer support in open research skills.

The group creates resources and hosts workshops to help researchers from all career stages develop as open researchers. This includes:

  • primers on pre-registration
  • registered reports
  • open data and open code
  • introductory sessions on pre-registration

See more on the Open Science Framework page.

For information about upcoming talks, events and workshops hosted by the group, view the Psychology Research Hub page.
