Centre for Climate Adaptation & Environment Research team
We are a group of academic, post-doctoral research staff, and doctoral students carrying out research into the impact of extreme weather events.
Our expertise spans engineering and architecture disciplines related to understanding and combating the impact of extreme weather events in areas including:
- adapting to climate change's impact on natural and built environments
- decarbonising industrial and agricultural processes, carbon sequestration and carbon capture
- the physical and chemical properties of Earth's atmosphere and its interaction with components of the Earth system
- the variability of the climate system and the causes of climate change
Our responsibilities include leading research projects, supporting grant applications, supervising PhD students, and teaching.
