Centre for Spatial Intelligence staff
We are a group of academics and postdoctoral researchers from the fields of computer science, engineering, health, mathematics and psychology.
Our responsibilities include:
- Research
- Teaching
- Outreach
Directors
- Professor Michael Yang - Department of Computer Science
Research themes: spatial sensing and synthesis, spatial user interfaces
Research: Michael’s research is in the fields of Visual Computing and Computer Vision with specialisation on Scene Understanding, Multimodal Learning, Deep Generative Models.
- Professor Jason Alexander - Department of Computer Science
Research themes: spatial sensing and synthesis, spatial user interfaces
Research: Jason's primary research is in Human-Computer Interaction, with a particular interest in developing novel interactive systems that seek to re-physicalise interaction with digital content. His recent work focuses on the design, engineering, and evaluation of haptic interfaces and displays that support force input and force output.
