Clinical Rehabilitation and Exercise Medicine (CREM) Research Group members
View the membership of the Clinical Rehabilitation and Exercise Medicine (CREM) Research Group.
Working across three inter-related multidisciplinary work streams, our group systematically explores the biological, psychological and mechanical basis of exercise for the:
- prevention and management of chronic disabling conditions and diseases
- rehabilitation and recovery from injury, illness or surgery
- long-term health and well-being of people who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses
We work with a range of specialist clinical partners and patient communities to address real-world challenges, while collaborating with mechanical engineers, computer scientists, product developers and others to design and evaluate innovative assistive healthcare technologies across these themes.
