We work in partnership with colleagues across the Faculty’s academic departments, wider professional services teams and the Students’ Union (SU) to support students and enable their success throughout their time at the University of Bath. Across the team, we:

• coordinate pastoral support within departments and signpost students to appropriate University services
• support voluntary student leadership schemes, including peer mentoring, academic representation, and departmental student societies
• ensure the student voice is heard and acted upon through mechanisms such as Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs), focus groups, and surveys
• contribute to University-wide initiatives, including Vertically Integrated Projects (VIPs) and One Young World Bath
• develop and enhance Faculty–student communications
• are also committed to advancing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) for students, supporting student groups such as Women in Tech and the Network of Women in Physics
