Global Opportunities

Supporting students and staff with study, training, and work activities abroad.

The Global Opportunities team works with students and staff to coordinate and support study exchanges, training, research opportunities and summer schools abroad.

We offer insight, support and guidance to students and staff from considering and applying for an opportunity abroad through to support upon returning.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing information to students and staff
  • Giving guidance on funding opportunities for outgoing students and staff
  • Supporting incoming exchange and visiting students whilst in Bath
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with partner universities to ensure a wide range of opportunities are available for our students and staff
  • Managing the Summer Abroad programme
  • Working university-wide to support global opportunity activities across all departments

    Ruth supports the University's engagement with international ministries and sponsors of international students. She also has oversight of the Mobility Team.

    Amy is responsible for leading the Global Opportunities team and operational oversight of international mobility activities across the University.
