Governance Team
The Governance Team supports the work of the University Council and its committees.
The Governance Team has two key purposes: To facilitate good governance of the University through supporting the Council and its committees; and to develop improved ways of working, ensuring that University governance remains effective into the future.
Ultimately, good governance builds a foundation for a high performing organisation and better enables the University to achieve its objectives. It ensures accountability and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. It strengthens stakeholder engagement, builds confidence in decision-making and allows for agile and well-informed responses to challenges and opportunities.
